Does your Dog need a Brace?
Not always sometimes a splint can be all that is needed for short term injury.Best to discuss with your DVM or Canine Rehab Technician first.We have had many owners wanting to have a brace
made,but it was not needed as a custom splint worked and the dog did fine.
Dogs with Injury,Older Dogs that are not surgical Canidates,critical Post op applications where
support is critical after surgery is also one application.Cost of surgery is prohibited by the owner
and option for providing support for the ACL is needed.Our Brace is backed by years of experience
in Brace manufacturing.We use carbon fiber for the shell material for strength and light weight.
Also since we use a functional hinge,alignment is critical.Carbon fiber helps keep the hinge alignment maintained,versus plastic which we first used but in our design was not the best choice.
Our hinges are Titanium and Stainless.Most of our Braces we build are Titanium.We manufacture our
own hinges.We can taylor our hinges to almost any size for the application.All our hinges are incorporated with Delrin bushings for smooth operation.Our Condyle pad system is used to support the joint on each side for best medial or lateral support.Complimenting the Brace is the liners and straps that will maintain comfort and keep secure to the leg.Theres no substitute for quality!!!
